cello STUDIO POLICIES - Sacramento Area

WEEKLY LESSONS

60 minute weekly cello lessons
Lesson Fees are $50 per 60 minute lesson, if paid monthly.   Lessons paid weekly are $55 per lesson.  Lesson payment can be made by cash, check or money order. 
Missed cello lessons should be rescheduled within a 2 week period following the absence. 
Student agrees to give notice of cancellation  of 24 hours prior to the lesson whenever possible.   I reserve the right to charge for missed lessons for which adequate notice was not given.
Late arrival to a lesson may result in a shorter lesson.

PRACTICE
Student commits to a minimum of 30 minutes practice/per day - 5 days/week.   Successful learning requires regular cello practice.

SHEET MUSIC
Students are responsible for purchasing books and sheet music suggested by the teacher and providing a teacher copy for songs selected by the student. 

STUDENT PERFORMANCES
Students will be encouraged to  participate in 2-4 recitals and public performances annually.
